The passenger side cylinder allows to slowly lower the hatch which, once opened, can be released and continues to lower without help in a controlled manner. The gas cylinder on the driver side helps to close the hatch. It makes it easy to lift and allows to close the hatch of a simple hand movement.

Made in Australia and Germany, Tailgate Assist incorporates two types of cylinders developed in collaboration with Stabilus, the world leader in gas cylinder technology.
